The team at MedeTrax have developed a programming interface that automatically generates early warning scores by combining the results from a selection of observations for pediatric patients. These observations include Pulse, Respiration Rate, O2/Vapotherm, Conscious level, Concern and GCS. Clinicians will be alerted should the child’s condition deteriorate and this is usually matched by a higher or increasing score which is picked up by our application interface and interpreted accordingly as intervention may be required. Early intervention provides clear benefits to healthcare professionals and patients alike.
As with the adult version the MedeTrax paediatric application scoring function is adaptable to the varying observation regimes currently in use.
